See how I make my chamber conduits and DIY. Enjoy!

These process vids you've been sharing are great - thanks so much!

Definitely like this. I've done the wire wind before (mostly previous Negotiator interiors) but the two tone color is
a brilliant twist   on the look.

I don't think there is an interior idea you haven't done or inspired others to do.
Sethski had an idea to try flat wire. I've not seen that before, but imagine it would look really nice if it works out.

I was going to say flat wire might end up looking more like BX, but maybe that's the round wire already. It might be harder to make it bendy. I look forward to seeing someone try it :D

A while back, I think nanorex and I were in the TCSS chat talking about conduit and I mentioned trying rubber tube with small sections of metal tube over it. Never got around to trying it though. Plus the rubber tube is usually pretty thick. It’d be hard to pass many wires through it.

that's why god invented heat shrink.

I did this on the un-named copper and brass saber 8 years ago for faux conduit details. I originally had red and green twisted wires but it looked stupid on the saber, so I went to copper colored wire to go with the overall color scheme.

Love that saber!
Wow l never noticed they were spun wire. Always thought it was straight copper tubes but just had another glorious look and yep, spun indeed. Agree, going all copper was a good choice for that.
Looks like you may have went with two gauges on that?

I have to stand corrected. I went back and looked at the actual saber (it sits on Tim's desk in his office) and it is actually black and red enamaled wire. They are both the same size, but in pictures, it does look like just copper (looks like copper in person, but under the microscope, you can see two colors). I know I experimented with copper wire, not sure when I changed to the red/black it currently has. Must have been during the final assemebly and I decided to change.
