Hey Kit,
If you have a Credit Card you can go to purchase a DV camcorder using the card and then use the camera to make your vid. Then just take the camera back and get your money back on the card. I call that "renting for free" The most you will have to pay is a couple dollars in finance charges on your card and thats it. I've "rented" coolers, tv's and a regular camera like that before.
I would hate to do that,my luck I will get hit with a 30% restock fee like the last time I did something like that..
I have no choice but to buy a new dv cam,as I am in business producing music production tutorial dvds, and I was just about to start on a new one..
But what`s killing me is I have to pay rent and bills in 5 days ..
So im not going to probably have $300 saved up to buy a dv till Mid next month, and then its too late to submit a video..
Worse Is I might have to MRI early next month and thats going to cost me $150 just for that..
My only hope now is like craigslist.com and see if I can find a used second hand Dv cam for under $175 or something..
