your doing some great custom work on that dooku have you thought about reshaping the hook so its more accurate?

I don't think we'll be tackling the hook portion of the saber other than to clean up the edges before it goes for chroming.

I'm not opposed to the idea Herr Doctor, but your Tardis will not help you with the line that seems to be forming lately.

It's starting to look like I opened a can of worms with this one. Lol.

You have done such a brilliant job with this Duke.

I think it is fair to say that you have shown that it is absolutely possible to make these hilts look just as they should.

Thanks for sharing the whole process with everyone, it gives me hope that mine can too look as it should lol

Looks really great. Love the shine.

How much effort did it require to get the hilt smooth prior to having it chromed? My hilt is really rough and sanding by had doesn't make a dent. I'm expecting to have to do some fine point grinding.

Please share. :)

WOW, you really putting the bling where your "hand" is! These are EPIC. can't wait for the vid.

This Duke run is popping out some great saber.

I can only imagine what's gonna happen to  a "SID"  :sidious: that thing will be HEAVY!  :))

Keep up the great work !

Cheezus. Now that is a saber renovation. If I hadnt seen the progress I wouldnt think that was a Duke. I have seen similair things done in other hobbies and the metal cutting alone isnt as easy as it looks. It takes years to get that good to make such a clean cut with a torch. Gold plating as well. Are you going to have the red button carved from solid ruby next? This Duke has gotten more love than the one in the movie.
