I heard that some people used corbins driver in converted MR sabers, is this new one small enough to build it into a Maul saber?

Ok to put it bluntly the new corbin driver will fit in the thin neck section. I seen a pic of it once but cant find it.

yup. that was me asking the question. it's good news indeed - no extra clash sensor!

also those boards are perfect for pairing with Corbin's driver because they have diodes on their battery input lines which squash their ma production and make them less good for driving LEDs , but they also have more accurate swing than the other boards due to the actual design of the motion sensor, and finally the timing of the extend and retract is most aligned to these boards.

so the result is the best MR sound around, no extra clash sensor, and a fully driven 1000ma "living" blade =)

Yeah, I used a 05 vader for mine and I think my main problems was the clash sensors dident go of a tthe same time and that was really bothersome to me.

Other than that it was perfect!
