I had ordered what I hoped would be the .45 replica of Count Dooku's lightsaber from AotC.
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_16/601-3308929-5420158?%5Fencoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B0007YWIOA
As you can see, the description and photo matched up, and I had hoped I'd be able to buy it cheaper than I had been finding them on Ebay. However, when the package finally arrived today, they had shipped the .45 Darth Tyranus from RotS - different, and easily available. So now I'll have to mail it back. I was hoping to secure two of the more difficult to find cheaply .45 replicas (Dooku from Target, Kenobi from Amazon-which is due to ship mid-May). I hope this helps anyone who was thinking they might be able to get Dooku's lightsaber for retail.

Yeah hopefully amazon won't do that with the obi saber. I've noticed on ebay though people have been selling the 2004 sith collection for pretty cheap. I saw the case, maul, vader anh, and dooku atoc sell for only 60, 75 with shipping. The best way to get the dooku seems to be to find a sith collection on ebay.

The Dooku .45 was available on the KB Toys website until last month. When I returned to order the mini, it was no longer on the site.
I got a Dooku mini a couple of weeks ago on ebay for $35 plus shipping. Keep an eye open and you'll find one there for retail or less eventually. The price of these minis seems to keep going down.
The 2004 Sith Collection I saw for $80 BIN on ebay this afternoon sold just before I posted this.

Hmm... I don't know about Target's product listings. They have the BD Maul mini listed as Episode II. It also looks like they removed the Episode II part from the Dooku discription.

that's curious...."I will soon find the reason behind this plot" lol ;) - ani ROTS

If you hurry, here is a Dooku AOTC mini on ebay going for around $22 with only 3 and a half hours left.

Missed it while I was at work. $36+5 shippig is actually a decent price I would've paid. Oh well, I'll have to continue keeping an eye out for it.

The secret to the problems with Target listings is that Target.com is really run by Amazon, and we've seen a fair bit of their SR picture accuracy lately. ;)
-
i didn't know they were the same co. that's interesting.
they have accurate pics of SR's? can you give me a link please LS?
-
Actually, they really have both been notorious of late about throwing up just any old pic and calling it a completely different SR.
(Forgive my sarcasm if it wasn't apparent.)

Seems like some of these big retaliers are getting a bit dodgy :-\
