Vader (ESB) MPP clamp search

 Howdy,
 I just purchased a Vader 07 ESB from Hasbro. I am hoping to to a conversion on it to remove the blade. As well I would like to find a good MPP clamp that I can replace the uggo plastic clamp with.  :)

Does vaders ESB hilt have the lever on the clamp?

No but I don't think I have ever seen a clamp made to be ESB. I think usually you start with one like this or have one custom made, but I could be mistaken.

 Interesting. The one I have does not have the wires coming out of the hilt near the emitter. The clam lever is just annoying me it sticks waaay out. So I am gonna hack it off  :D. Well not exactly, but a new clamp that is metal would be much cooler.

I don't think that saber kit clamp will fit your ESB. The Hasbro is too fat. Also, if you need the conversion done then shoot me a pm.

It says the clamp is 1.5" inner diameter on the Saberkit site, so easy enough to confirm if it's too small for the saber or not. I'm guessing Lord Bane is right, though...

And I thought Hasbro had only done the Vader ANH?

As GreyJedi queried, the ANH has the clamp 'lever' and ESB doesn't - and the ESB has the wires and the ANH doesn't.

The ANH has shorter t-grips not all the way up to the clamp, but the ESB grips go right up to the clamp.

It sounds like yours might be the Vader ANH rather than ESB from the description you've given.
