That upgrade makes the Luke ROTJ look so much cooler. I might have to get that. But I'm wondering... if I wanted to remove it sometime would it peel off without damage to the saber?

Good question, that's what I am also wondering, but if there's no damage then this may be considered as a protector some sort. But if definately does look awesome and more realistic, without the copper look it simply makes the hilt look like a toy.

This is a good question, I would say that it depends on what you stick it on with though.

It won't damage anything but after it's been on for a while and you peel it off, it will leave a sticky residue :P
that you'd need to clean off with something like Goo-Gone.

It's an agressive adhesive and likes to stay put ;) but it won't peel up any paint if you decide to remove it
if that's your concern :)

Ahh, so I was wrong :(

But this is even better though, you can have it on but take it off when you want to.

The glue should come off fairly easy if you're careful. The only thing I don't like about metallized films is that they all fade
to a silver after some time. Most times do to exposure to light. They also scratch very easily. The great thing is if they do go bad
you just peel it off and put on some new film! I'm in the process of making my own add on copper film. It's a bit tedious
but once the file is made I can cut it on a plotter anytime I need one. I'm interested to see how it looks. I'm still
not sure how shiny or bright the actual saber in the movie is though. It's hard to tell.
