I have FXs too, but Master Replica has not yet made an FX version of Obi-Wan's saber from the first two movies.  It's my favorite hilt so I had to go and get one.

Nice job!
Is that the plastic larbel hilt?

I think I have that hilt at home.. You just gave me another project on my "todo" list.

It's got some metal in it, it's pretty heavy.
I could probably whack someone on the head and knock'em out with it.

Most impressive....  I was actually thinking about getting the Larbel Obi-Wan hilt and putting an EL blade in there, so it's nice to see how it'd turn out in the end.  How'd you get all the electronics into the hilt to have an EL blade?  Is there any room for a sound module?  And how durable is the EL blade when you're swinging it around?  Are there any creaky sounds, or is it pretty solid?

someone else did all the work of getting the EL stuff into the hilt.  The parks blade is pretty sturdy, after inserting it, you can still tighten it down even more with a small allen wrench.  but i never bother to tighten it down, i've struck quite a few things with it and have had no problems.  course, i never bought another el blade from parks or lighttech, i just duel with my son using his hasbro plastic blade.

great job!

If MR will release an FX version of that lightsaber now I'm sure I'll buy it :D
and the 8th day God said "Let the Master Replicas produce Ligtsabers FX"
God saw that it was good.
