Vader's Vault Bluetooth Setup
« on: December 22, 2019, 10:42:02 AM »
Hello all,
I'm fairly new to the light saber collecting world but a lifelong Star Wars fan. I just purchased a Vader's Vault Ren Crossguard CFX Pixel saber with RICE Bluetooth. No instructions of any kind came with the saber. I am trying to pair the saber with Forcesync app on my Iphone. The app recognizes the saber but I do not know the pin code. I searched the web and found an old forum where some were saying the pin code was 1138....I tried that and had no luck. Any suggestions?

Vader's Vault Ren Crossguard USB access?

Hello all, I just purchased a Vader's Vault Ren Crossguard CFX Pixel RICE Bluetooth saber. I love the saber but it didn't come with any directions. I am having trouble pairing the blue tooth and can't figure out how to access the USB location. I'm guessing that the bottom RED cap unscrews to access the back part of the board but I'm not sure. The red cap is very tight and is a weird shape. I don't want to break or damage it...especailly if there's an easier way. Does anyone have any experience with this saber?

The newer ones use a six digit code. Try 113811.

I find your arguments vague and unconvincing.

All day yesterday it was asking for a pin......now today it just keeps saying Connection Lost: Check the device is on and accepting income commands.

I got it to ask for pin number again....but 113811 doesn't work either.

I’ll have Luminara or Starkiller come and help you out.

No..I haven't heard anything from them. I did send a message to Vader's Vault regarding, but haven't heard anything yet.

If you want it to work with the ForceSync App., you have to manually change the logport setting on the SD card to 2 (logport=2)

Is your name Robert by any chance?

I don’t know of there are other apps past the ForceSync app and RICE (which is a compute based configuration program).

Vader’s Vault does have a video on how to access the SD cars for that particular saber on youtube, by the way.

Yeah, I've seen that Youtube video. I can get to the SD card, I just don't know how to get to the USB port.....There's a red cap at the end of the hilt that I'm assuming needs to come off to access the USB port, but it's super tight and I don't want to damage it.

I don’t think the red cap has anything to do with it. I’m sure you’ll hear from them tomorrow or Tuesday,

Still waiting to hear from Vader’s Vault regarding the Bluetooth setup. I know it’s the holiday season but this could easily be avoided by shipping with some sort of instructions.

Just to update, changing the Log port to 2 fixed the problem.
