That low profile with the knurled edge is the best IMO so far.  I think I have a winner for my custom.

Seriously? an armitage style would be great.  All polished and shiny.

^^^^I am assuming like the MHS the armitage style will be a thread on.  I am not crazy about Parks' set screw setup or the chrome for that matter.  This will be a great pommel for the MHS.

^^^^ I know I saw it about an hour ago.  TCSS is making me rethink my custom saber options.  I love that one the best so far.

That's the great thing about the mhs, just change out the pomel if you want.

I know this is prob a novice question but will a sink tube slide over the mhs with a nice tight fit or will it be really loose?

It's not tight enought to scratch up the hilt, but also not loose enough it is sloppy. I think tim has them made that way.

Kind of figured that was the case.  Cool.

I may just end up making my own custom out of an mhs with brass sleeve.

it works pretty good. although I couldn't find a long enough piece of brass sink tube, I just sanded the chrome off a reg sink tube..

Where can you ifnd brass sink tube?  Every place I look it is all chromed.  It seems like a pain to sand it off and then polish it up.

not real sure, the longest I have seem was 4 inches. do-clo might know. It's not that hard to sand off the chrome.I bought one of them 5 inch sanding disks and attached it to my drill.  if you don't use really rough sandpaper it should be pretty smooth.
