Rey's "weapon"(?)
« on: April 20, 2015, 08:51:57 PM »
Came across these, and even though I'm not wild about saber-pikes, they are unquestionably canon. So, here we go:

Rey's "weapon"

Now we'll take a look at Bane's canon saber pike:

One can't help but wonder.

This may be way out there but what if the graflex is under the wrapping on the pike to make the weapon and she is the one that was given the graflex in the trailer?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Bane will play some part in this movie!  His similarity to Kylo Ren's design can't just be coincidence...

I still think Rose is handing the old 'Flex to Leia in the trailer. As for who gets it:

...looks pretty conclusive there.

Could be that she wears her lightsaber incognito, like the way Kanaan disassembles his to look like little belt greeblies, but hidden throughout various parts of her staff. We might not even see it lit up in this first movie, so we'll just have to wait and see.

On Collider videos on youtube, they have a show called "Jedi Council", where it has been speculated that that staff originally belonged to Darth Plagueis.

It is a salt and pepper grinder.  Like they use in fancy restaurants.  Pepper on your rancor steak?    8)

Hadn't seen this image yet, you really get a good look at the staff here. I was assuming it was going to be like the MagnaGuard staffs from ROTS, but who knows, something is going on there for sure.
