Hi everyone,

Apologies for the delay in producing anything new, working through a product launch at work right now, and free time seems to be an idea from a galaxy far, far away ;)

Anyhow, I will be making efforts to set aside some time soon to film the walkthrough, and hopefully the full version as well. I will try to have at least one of them done in the coming weeks :)

Cool man. I'm currently working on double backhand style. I'm trying to develop the style to be more practical for dueling. If you're ever in Santa Cruz, CA, let me know.  :)

Ah the joys of developing your own kata trying out different combs progressions, making sure it all flows together, are the moves and stands crisp, writing it down/ or remembering the order. Then of course there is always finding the right music to sync it to.   Oh yeah, you have to preform it for people.     Good times.    Of course the light sabers make it more fun and the kids get a kick out of it.

I find it really hard to do the handstand that dazaan rhazul did here, I kinda broke my MRsaber in the process  :D, however i manage to find one of my cousin' s golf club and cut it to be my dummy saber for a while.

backhand style is really hard to master. however if you do you will have trouble doing consecutive normal non-backhand slashes and unconsciously switch to backhand again.

weird.

I have to say, ok. I've honestly never been a fan of Tae Kwon Do, but that aside, I would say you are getting there. Your form needs a little clean up, could be a tad bit tighter. Watch your angles, Where it's supposed to be parrallel with the ground, 45 degrees or 90 degrees. Also, I wouldn't despise the basics, something that may help it flow a little better, feel a bit more natural is adding some basics inbetween all the flips and spins. This is just my opinion, one thing I learned in Japan, and the difference between American style martial arts and over there, is attention to the minutest of details. Every move has to have purpose, has to be deliberate and exact. Spins are nice, flips are nice, but they take time in between each. Plus, putting the basics inbetween will give you a chance to catch your breath inbetween and make it look more effortless then tiring on you.

I like the style of the form, the floating saber then a sharp quick flourish then strike.

IMO this isn't a very practical form to actually battle with- many openings,  and weak grips (spinning, in air).

This would make an excellent choreography form however. Props to you.
