4AAA battery holder and speaker combo

Does the 4AAA battery holder and speaker combo fit into MHS ribbed sections?

The battery pack will but the speaker mount is ment to sit like the heatsinks and is sanwhiched between the parts, so the female threaded end of the ribbed/vgrooved section will have to be in the pommel area of the hilt.

I haven't had any luck with it, I only have the regular grooved sections not a v-grooved section.

It should fit cause the ribbed and vgrroved are essentually the same part. and a 4AAA pack should fit cleanly. are you sure that everything is seating right?

the battery pack fits fine for me, it's the speaker holder that won't go in deeper on my ribbed section.  i don't have a separate speaker holder to try since the combo is all soldered together.
