These are alternate PCBs for the Korbanth LS6 control box also available from TCSS as a stand alone box (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Box-style-28-kit-P1377.aspx). They will be available either with an IC that can control the animation based on accent pad inputs, or without the IC to allow direct access to the WS2812 Din and Dout for boards/firmware that can support independent pixel accents (such as FX-SaberOS on a DIYino).

Interested, as per email.  Excited about these!  Footprint for 3535 pixel?

I've changed the PCB layout pretty significantly on these, but they still use 5050s.  They are brighter and give a bit more room for routing.

I scrapped the IC for the new batch and they are dedicated pixel boards.  If someone wants regular accent LEDs I can make that up as a separate board.

I hope you got my email about the boards I ordered.  I still have not received the package.

Yes. Neither have I.

Yes. Neither have I.

As we discussed, I sent this via letter mail to save on international shipping so I don't have a way of tracing it.  I will send out another one this week as a first class package at my cost.  I noted at the time that it might be an issue, and I probably shouldn't have offered the option to begin with.  I wish you would have let me know back when you ordered it that you hadn't received it.

Didn’t mean to offend, honestly just realized when I saw megatooth’s post that I hadn’t seen my package either.

Thank you for resending.

Looking at Madcow's install video of the box, I see how it works as a standalone.  Does this PCB also allow one to connect it to a saber board to run the accents through the board and the switches be used for blade activation rather than animation control?

This PCB was designed to act as two accent pixels.  If you are using a board that supports accent pixels (DIYino, Proffie, Teensy, etc) you can use it to control the pixels.  The only other option would be to wire it to the blade, but then they would just match the blade.

It would be possible to make a version that just included regular LEDs that would be controlled the accent pads of a less programmable board, but I am not sure if it's worth making unless you are interested in having a batch made.

I've got mine installed in my TeensySaber V3 powered LS6 and it's fantastic.

Neopixel accent LED w/TeensySaber v3 - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZKmSpzjqV0)

The PCB is really well designed, fits in the box snugly and the pads are in the perfect spots to avoid any incidental contact with he box walls.
