Cone Knobs, we need Cone Knobs!

O.K. this is a request going out to all the sabersmiths on the forum here. I have seen a resurgence of requests for cone knobs for Luke ROTJ V2 sabers. The cone on the "real" V2 has not been identified yet. Who, if anyone, would be able to make some of these? I can supply mine for meassurements if needed. Here is the custom made one that is on my saber.

At one point Equinox was going to machine some up, but that was quite a while back.

I am going to start checking the luthier's catalogs for custom guitar knobs. I get the feeling that SOMETHING might turn up.

If Caedus ever comes back in town this week, I'll see what he can come up with.

Hey Owen could you post pics of your V2?  or... do you have a thread on it? i couldnt find it.

I am going to get about a half dozen if he is still selling these. I'm going to email him and find out. Thanks Killphil, that was a great find. He may have been the one I got mine from. The one I have I got from a member over on Dewback Wing ASAP. I just can't remember who it was.

Again, I don't want to take credit for finding this site. It was X-Wingband who turned me on to it. I believe he may have very recently placed an order with him and received the cone knob, so I think it's still in effect...

As of 2 months ago at least Ken was still selling parts off the website.  I bought a number of Vader ROTJ parts from him.  I should pick up a couple of these as well just in case they sell out.

Have not bought any yet but the price of the cone knobs went from $5 to $7 so he must be selling them. I'm going to have to pick up a couple.

I DEFINITELY need at least 1 right now. It's going to be the kill key for my V2... ;)

Now to find another Luke ESB clamp, and get this Plecter board's Idle hum adjusted... ;)
