I'll see what I can do DS.  ;)

The question of a "better buy" is a matter of personal opinion but I'll try to sum them up:

An LE is high quality replica of the item (saber or blaster) as used in the film, based on all available material (usually the actual prop).

An EE is an idealized version of an item, although they can range in quality from the stunning Luke ROTJ EE which is the epitome of the concept to the ANH EE which is little different from the LE (before you ask the Obi EE is definitely in the former's category).

An SE is simply the exact same LE item with a special plaque (or plaques) signed by the actor who portrayed the character.  No difference in the actual item so the price difference between it and its LE is the value of the signature.

The upcoming CE is a more entry level (though with only an FX's price in difference this point can be contested) item still based on the actual prop but with slightly lesser materials.  The idea being these would be less for display than for use, with costumes etc.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion please do not hesitate to ask if any remain.  I'm always glad to talk LEs (etc ...) either here or by PM. ;D

I would say it goes like this:

Quality: EE

Accuracy: LE/SE

Price: CE (Only if you are on a small budget)

Hope that helps  ;)

Well I wanna discuss about Vader ROTS LE. I noticed that some own it, but there's no actual reviews about it, I think´. I admit that I wasn't that anxious about this saber when it came out, but slowly started to be interested about it, just a while ago. I would be nice to own a one Vader LE and what makes this so special compared to others, it's a hidden hilt in the movie and not screen used as you all know. Really beautiful still, kinda makes me wonder if to get one.

Although I am not a big fan of the ROTS vader hilt, I think that it would be a great addition to your collection. It would would go particularly well with your Sidious ROTS LE ;).

The best thing I did to actually see the ROTS vader was to pick up the mini.  I have it right next to my other vader minis and it fits in perfectly.

Thanks to Darth Nerdold for the sig!
