This is a bit of a work in progress, but I'm going to put up more and more pictures of my collection as I get them.

This first picture is of the last time I actually had anything set up for display, several months ago.

These are all only preexisting shots, but I wanted a place to set aside to have them and/or discuss them.  All of these pics have been posted here before but here they are in no jeopardy of hijacking any other threads. :D

Fantastic collection, Luke.
I particularly like your Obi-Wan 'evolution' collection. The TPM and the weathered ANH stand out as favouites.
I am probably going to have to get an original graflex one day, as well.
The Jango and Han balsters look sweet as well.
I really long for a Luke ROTJ replica but an MR one is a bit outside my budget. I found some drawings with dimensions on the net and am thinking of getting a friend of mine to machine me one.
Really love the look of the Jango blasters. Are they really as golden as they look? They would look great crossed over the mantlepiece, old western style.

Interesting that the Jango got so much attention, but given the dramatic MR case I shouldn't  be surprised.  They are definitely a silver/grey color, it is simply the lighting that might make them look otherwise.  As for the cost, I was fortunate to pick up the pair for, much as they remain now, well below list price.

they are really amazing looking, i have always fancied them ever since AOTC and the ps2 game bounty hunter.

It was as listed on the link with free ups ground included.  However, John was out of the Mauser replicas when I'd ordered so it took a few weeks, otherwise a great experience.

Yes I find that the Original Parts used to make the props are very cool to have.

I bet that Gun from blast Tech, fully comes apart 8)

Now, Luke's Collection has always been impressive.
Good to see the picts make their way back to the Boards :)

What you really need is a stainless cabinet that's been "star wars" weathered to display it all it ;D

Too true Master Yoda, my Han ANH can miraculouly become a Denix Mauser replica, and then return to its SW glory at any time.  :)
As is your point about my needing a proper display, most of my collection is still in its boxes since my move, I really need to fix that one of these days.

As I look at them the unique appearance of the Sidious really appeals to me, but as I hold it in my hand, there is something right about the feel of our favorite Muppet's weapon of choice.

there is a thread about polishing out the Luke ROTJ to give it that chrome look, do you think is more accurate to the EE?

The polished FX does indeed look very much like it, add Yoda's copper kit and it'd be as close as an FX could be to that EE look.

Wow until I saw that picture comparing the LE maul and the FX maul I would have never thought they are so close in size!

wow the FX Luke ROTJ just does not do that hilt any justice, it was never my favorite hilt but after seeing the pic Luke posted that is definatley one of the nicest looking hilts ever.

Yeah it's such a shame that the FX just can't look like Luke's EE.
Even if they could fit the electronics into it, I suspect that the neck would be too weak to support a blade that can be duelled with.

Wow the FX is so close to the LE. Just a slightly larger diameter and the coupler, those are the only differences I can see.
Do both Maul FX halves have a covertec, BTW? Or have you removed one of them?

Both halves of the Maul do come with a covertech knob, but I did indeed remove one.  It was very simple, of course, and I think it really helps the accuracy.

I kinda consider my Larbel Obi to be an AOTC, I forget which one it was, but now that I think o f it, it probably was the TPM too.  I guess that makes it a double, I usually try to avoid those.  :-[

I think it's just a standard Disneyland Indy hat, although I'm not sure I actually got it there. :-\  I just needed a place to put it while I was moving things around and I don't think I could have found a better place. :D

By the way Luke, what are the major differencies between EE and LE, other than EE was sold out in seconds and is ever more limited than LE and what has been the smallest number on your LE's?  :)

Well the major difference between the EE and the LE was supposed to be that they were a more idealized version of the prop, that is, not exactly what was on screen, but how it could or even should have looked.  MR has done this with varying success, from the perfect interpretation of the mandate which was the Luke ROTJ to the downright duplicate which was the Luke ANH.

I had to check my RS registry as I'm still all boxed up, but I believe my lowest is an 81 (Shock Bucket).  I've never really been too caught up in numbers especially as I really paid a premium for that one which is painful to look back on. :-[  :D

Most likely, as Luke read about the MR issue, he went to bank and ordered every item possible, now he's just having some troubles with the all the MR trucks on his yard full of stuff, now he only needs a castle for all his stuff. Actually I backed off on MR products even before they decided not to renew the license, and that is less likely to change into the future.  As I look now I note that this is the old thread and there is actually a "Luke's Collection thread part 2" just a few topics below this one with my newer additions.  And since I'm posting here I'll say that I did just get my Qui-Gon mini today as well so that's progress too. ;)
