Thread revival, but:
If the OD your MHS parts are machined down to fit the brass tubes, how does the MHS sleeve fit over your parts?
The MHS parts weren't machined down any further from stock...I happened to find unplated,  raw brass tubes at my local hardware store.

Holy zombie threads,  batman!  A topic revival!

This saber is back in my possession from the original owner for an update to the sound board and the battery solution.  I have it on the bench and it's dis-assembled:

The previously installed soundboard,  an Ultrasound 2.5 on the left,  and the new replacement,  a Petit Crouton 1.6:

The bin 4 amber Luxeon III will be replaced by a Ledengin 10-watt Amber instead:

The battery solution will be up to the owner,  but can go two ways:

I will either use removable Li-Ion rechargeable batteries,  or go with a custom Li-Ion battery pack....shown is the extra pack I use for CS-X,  a pair of 14500's with a pcb.  This saber can actually fit a pair of 14650's,  which will handle the extra current load of the 10-watt with FoC enabled.

More to come over the next few weeks as work progresses.

I like how amber looks like in pictures, that nice gold.  Not so much IRL... kinda looks like a creamsicle, doesn't it? :D
