Removing a Flash Pan

I've been looking through lots of threads and all of them say to remove the flash pan, but don't indicate how to do that.
Any insight is helpful, thanks!

Hello, I just removed mine. I unscrewed the screw from the arm holding the “dish” to separate it from the arm. It makes it easier to grip the arm for the next part. Then you need to push the arm down into the hilt just enough to disengage the little “hook/clip” that connects to the little hole above the red button side, above the bunny ears. Just use VERY SLIGHT downward pressure and it will disengage. Hope this helps you!
