How I got it
At the end of August I proordered this saber at killertoys. Early in October I found out that people were getting their sabers from Borders much sooner than expected. On October 7th I bought one from borders and canceled my order with killertoys. (a very good choice as it happened because killertoys was not able to fulfill their preorders) I opened the box as soon as I go home. As i pulled the saber out of the plastic bag I realized just how nice this saber is to hold. I opened the endcap and put in the batteries. I went into a dark room and turned it on WOOOOOOSSHHHH!! This saber is about the same brightness as my Anakin ROTS. The sounds are very similar to the Anakin ROTS if not the same.
The blade
The blade on this saber is very bright like the Anakin ROTS and a nice green color. Unfortunately it is uneven in brightness. This is normal on this saber but good batteries reduce this effect. I did find a dark spot in the center but it is nearly impossible to see. The power up/down effects are very well timed with the sounds. This saber does have a brighter core if you look at it from more than 20ft away but it is not as white as on the Anakin though.
The hilt
The hilt is very easy to hold and spin. It does have a fat neck but I don't mind. I love the fact that you can't leave fingerprints on this saber. The hilt feels much more real than the Anakin ROTS and it does not have the rub-off paint. I really like the hilt despite the fat neck.
The sound
The sound on this saber is the same as the anakin but deeper and slightly louder. It responds to your movements quite well. The volume on this saber is just right except if you use it at night when people are sleeping. I have no complaints with the sound on this saber.
I highly recomend getting this saber as it will be worth alot in the future and is the only green led blade. I give this saber a 9 out of 10 with the only problems being the slightly blotchy blade and the oversized hilt.
