Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I'm really getting a lot of enjoyment out of this saber the more I use it, and I'm sure you all will as well. Looking forward to reading everyone else's reviews.

My first TRUE review will most likely be this saber or the Overlord.

One question though; Is the saber easy to accidentally "bump" the switch while spinning?

jedi bailinski, let us know ASAP when you get the sabers ready for the group sale! PWEESE??!

Thanks for the AWESOME review Andy!

It's slightly less easy to accidentally turn off than the Vader, since it uses the same switch but a little lower on the hilt. The bubble strip is a bit stiff when in both positions, so it doesn't happen all the time...but it does happen occasionally.

Good! So It's about like the Vader in that regard then...

Yeah! It's going to look good over the Entertainment center! ;D

You know, I bet if you slightly trim down that top edge of the bubble strip it will leave less area for you hand to hit against and turn the saber off.

May The Force FX Be With You!

That's possible, though from looking at the activation box, it looks like if you did trim away some of the bubble strip you'd reveal a bit of the gap behind it where the switch electronics are.

Well now that we have our first review of this saber, don't you think it's time a section for the Luke ANH reviews is created and this moved to it?

Yoda, are you slacking? lol

Or just reverse the switch... :)

Nice review!

Could you talk a little about the sound? Since the clamp covers most of the Luke ESB speaker, the sound is VERY muffled compared to my other sabers that are much louder. Is the volume about the same as the other sabers?

Thanks!

M
