Playing the game today and pausing and looking at te saber. You know what detail I see EFX got much closer to how I think the design was intended???

The bunny ears. EFX added the graflex notch

I think the poly count kept the game model from having the slight curve as I think the original intention was graflex bunny ears. In the game you can even see te bunny ear rivet although slightly inset, but it's there on te texture map/shader.

So jk sabers with their graflex bunny ear with curves... Is that the most accurate to concept?????

At least in the bunny ears topic.

The saber's front and back halves look like they are only being connected by the four crystal chamber cage bars... not exact a sturdy looking set-up.  :(

VV should email eFX some pics and a vid of they're Starkiller. Might make some money if they decide they like VV's more. Never know what could happen

Saw this at cvi.  It was pretty laughable tbh.  So was the "graflex" they had though.

Brian of Efx was kind enough to allow us to hold and take comparison shots of their SK compared to ours. I will post pics in the next day or so (not exactly 'up' to doing it after walking around all day and night LOL!)

It is....cool....for what it is. A Starkiller it ain't :-\ Now...their Thor's Hammer and helm...YES PLEASE!

We also had the pleasure of meeting Sam Witwer and showing off Number 1 from the first run and he was quite impressed with it, and even waited for me to find a Sharpie for him to sign it :o Who else would have done that? No one, the dude was seriously cool and nice. I will post those pics later as well.

They didn't happen to mention any new release info on this, did they? (I can dream, haha)

I read a post out there else where claiming YOUR SK was not as accurate as (He who should not be named) and let me say I Love yours and I will own one one day.... the other is cool but its litterally held togeather with 1 8-32 or 10-32 button head screw... that holds the shroud, blade holder, and well HALF the hilt... very poor design... anyway wanted to tell you your still #1.

I would have loved to have met Sam congrats and have a safe trip back ;)

thanks

They said November for a tentative release and limited to 500 pieces. It does light up, sort of like the Parks Axis that we got here with the watch batteries and weird crystal.

Xan', yeah, I saw that. I know who makes it, and several things on that design were taken from ours. Not impressed.

Just to clarify, November for Mjolnir or the Starkiller?  Not trying to derail, I've just been waiting for news on that Mjolnir replica for months and months.
