Well I will say in defense of the FX line that they are far more mass produced thn the LE...
I really see any of the short comings of the FXs as something entirely related to help ease production,
right down to the different ways of "plating" the copper and gold parts.
It's obvious that the thickness of the MR FX line is to add robustness to it's construction (maybe cheaper as well)
by using a thicker gauge lo quality metal, as opposed to a stronger thinner gauge.
By using a slightly larger diameter it ensured stock Graflex and MPP emitters wouldn't be an "exact fit" so it helps
guard against fraud etc...
I've placed MR components in an actual Graflex (trial fitting only for now)
and they fit just fine.
But MPP emitters don't just slide over the MR handles, hence when I had to grind down the diameter
to get a Chromed MPP emitter to fit...(see Anakin2.0 in Gallery under Master YODAs Custom Sabers)
Of course the biggest short coming of all was not making the blades removeable themselves and selling
replacement blades as this would become a "consumeable" for MR but... anyway.
On another note I do think that sometime in the future MR (or someone else) would be able to introduce
a High Quality Line of Sabers that would use a more "movie accurate" blade by using a different Lighting
technology all together as lighting technology it self progresses ;)
