Tampa Florida Dueling Society

Inspired by the La Group, I would like to meet and duel some of my fellow lightsaber enthusiasts.
Or just hang out and talk shop.  ;D

I am in the Tampa bay area. Very close to Oldsmar.
Weekend nights would be good.
In my current Appt. complex there are a number of areas to compete. I will be moving in a few months, so a local park would be an option.

Would anyone know if there's a Dueling Society or Jedi group in South Florida? I'm in Boca Raton or Palm Beach County.

[It would be nice to know of or meet some Jedi here for Jedi Arts training and dueling and of course physical fitness].

this makes me miss FLA a lil bit. I used to live on 7th Ave in Ybor (an FX gathering would have been awesome at Guavaween) as well as living more south in FT.Myers. where I live now doesnt have another saber enthusiast for 6 hours in any direction

Ybor! Good times, bad decisions Lol. Unfortunately I just left the Tampa area, I am transferring to 1 of 5 schools in Texas and have relocated to Houston, I will miss Tampa and my home in Palm Beach Gardens  :(

Here in Tampa.

We have a local Sith oriented club. 

We are looking to some dueling as well.

Currently we are gathering to work on constumes for Dragon Con every Monday.

If there is anyone heading up something in the area drop me a PM and maybe we can get together to chat.

I have a pile of Ultrasabers to sell as well.  If you were at MetroCon you saw them.

Sunday fighting practice starts this Sundat at noon.  PM me here to get directions if interested.

This practice opened to FX-Sabers members, Rebel Legion members, and the fighting 501st in addition to my local club members.

Still looking for experienced spinners to instruct with that end of things.  The Storm Lords that are in this practice are more duelers than spinners, but we would like to do all of that.
