Little help for a neopixel rookie....(SOLVED)
« on: December 25, 2021, 04:40:21 PM »
I'm using fw 10.006F

I hooked up 3 Adiafruit Flora v2 neopixels in series to the data line 2 (L2?).

I used a 330 ohm resistor at the line and another in between EACH neopixel.

Everything works fine...except I noticed that the pixels do not turn completely off, based on the sequence bmp (where there is a black pixel). Tthey have a VERY dim glow which is barely perceivable...but it's there.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanx

GraFx is being ironed out but I would check the BMP to see if it's really black

"CTK" error (Chair To Keyboard, i.e. user error)

It was the first thing I checked, since it seemed the most obvious that I hadn't made the pixels completely black (RGB,000), but sure enough, some of the pixels were set to 3 instead of 0.

Thanx Erv.  Glad I was diligent and took your advice.

very glad it worked. Ockam's razor applied here, I'm happy I was able to spot the possible issue !
