K3GR2 : Ki-DjowacTried to achieve a highly polished look and minimalistic design.
Started off with 3D designing all the internal chassis parts and gathered the components to complete the build. I still had some LED bargraphs from a while back offered by Calvary custom sabers at the time. I thought about a tinted window which revealed only what was underneath when the bargraph was on. Took some experimenting with layers of window car tuning foil and other foil stuff. The bargraph itself is configured to compliment each soundfont, representing the 'soul of the saber'.
The powdercoating was done after the parts got a 10-step hand polish which took me about a week to get done. After the polish job, they were off to Boba Fett for powdercoating with my color scheme. Big shoutout to Boba Fett here !! Thanks again
3D printed parts were designed to hold every part in place and allowing Rice, recharge port and micro SD access.
Did some minor machining : drilling some holes, milling the window and shortening the blade holder on the lathe as well as the speaker.
Config was a bit challenging, but learned alot while doing so.
