Sourcing all the other parts is easy enough, but I just cant seem to find anywhere that sells polyC tubing to the public!!

Does anyone know any companies which sell Polycarbonate tubing in Aus? Preferably in Melbourne/Victoria?

FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE!
STUG Australia sells polyC tubing to the public! However there is a minimum buy of $25 as detailed below which equals to 1.15 metres or 45.29 inches

I asked them and they said:

Quote from: STUG Australia
"The price for Polycarbonate Tube 25.4 O.D x 19.0 I.D. is $21.73 per Metre. A standard length is 3 Metres
We do have a minimum order charge of $25.00 plus GST. The price per metre [above] did not include GST. Payment can be Cheque, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or Bankcard), Cash or EFT. We do not need [your] ABN"

Do you guys not have Fabric stores/Hobby stores in Australia?  Here we have JoAnn's Fabrics, AC Moore, Michaels, those type of places sell blade film cleverly disguised as basket wrap or cellophane for other hobby type projects ;).

No,  to do that you'll have to remove the tip,  then the mirror without damaging it,  and cut it down to about 3/4" diameter,  then re-apply it using some type of adhesive...I use 3M clear mounting tape for that.
