How I got it

On July 30th, 1 day after I recived my first fx the Vader ESB I ordered my Anakin ROTS from a guy on ebay with perfect feedback. The saber was stated to be in new condition but open box. I got it for $117 with shipping. 6 days later I came home from school to find a long brown box sitting on the table. I quickly but carefully opened the box. The only thing inside it was the saber itself (no stand no plastic bag around the saber) but this was stated in the auction. When I picked it up I was suprised how small and light it was. I quickly inserted the batteries and went into a dark room. I flicked the switch and WOW THIS THING IS BRIGHT. It was much brighter than my Vader. Then I noticed the dark spot it is much worse than the near non existant one on the Vader but still minor. I began to swing it around and noticed that the blade seamed loose. I expected this so it wasn't very bad for me.

The blade

This saber has a very birght blade. I was suprised how bright it was when I first turned it on. The power up/down effects on this saber are very well timed with the sounds. If you lean it agenst a wall and walk back 20ft then you can start to see a bluish-white core. The only bad things about the blade are the dark spot and the looseness.

The hilt

The hilt on this saber seams cheap in comparison to my other sabers. It is very close to the actual prop because it only has 3 batteries. It is a very easy saber to grip and spin around. My only problems with the hilt are that it seams cheap and the paint rubs off.

The sound

The sound on this saber is very well done. It responds to your movements quite well. The volume on this saber is just right except if you use it at night when people are sleeping. I have no complaints with the sound on this saber.

I would recomend this saber to anyone. I give this saber a 8 out of 10. It is perfect except the hilt seams cheap and there is a noticeable dark spot in the middle of the blade.

Question, everyone says that the paint rubs off. What is underneath? Is it just not as shiny or does it look really bad? I am referring to the hilt, not the on/off switch

Theoretically, you have little knobs that can adjust your blade length, width, intensity, and so on.  Of course, that's all theoretically....

The only different I have on my very same lightsaber is that it is more blue and darker than the review pictures, but the hilt is the same. I am afraid that I got the Anakin AOTC instead of Anakin ROTS.
