For those who want to know what's inside your Yoda Saber ;)
it has some catch22's to getting it apart though... the clash sensor will be come in operable
and require replacement. :D
other than that enjoy...

noooooooooo! poor little guy, he never stood a chance. j/k lol
cool to see inside of an fx saber.
is that a regular size LED strip on the bottom?
-
I love to see the innards of a saber..
But it always makes me say ..lol
-
Yes at first it used to be a shame every time I'd crack one open but
I'm used to it now :D
Plus it helps to educate everyone as to what's going on inside 8)
See those little Yoda LEDs :D

Thanks for the pics Master Yoda. :)
So THAT is how they managed to fit 64 LED's in that blade... makes sense. Smaller the LEDs the same number you can fit into it.

The leds might be little, but they give off a xxx of a glow..

So that's why Darth Vader USA's Yoda FX Luxeon conversions doesn't have the clash on them. He mentions this in his Ebay ads and now I know why. It's because he ruins the clash sensors when taking them apart for conversions.
It's gonna be interesting to see how Ultra will deal with this problem once he is able to offer conversions on the Yoda AOTC FX.

Like I said either from the front or back you'll destroy the clash sensor to get it all out. :D
need clash sensors we will...
if these to be done they are ;)
-
You'd need a surplus of MR clash sensors and that's easier said than done. Unless he can salvage them from conversions where the customer goes with his sound board instead.

Is the little black screw that is in the back of the emmiter structural?
Will there be a problem if I unscrew it and leave it out for spins, it sicks into my hand really bad!!
Lovin the Yoda, got it from Gamestation in Birmingham for £50 (I'm in the UK)
it is so bright and light it is excellent for spins (apart from the black screw) or am I just holding it wrong???

Yes the little back knob/screw does have a job of holding things in place
and yes it can get in the way, but it's something you'll get used to ;)

I know this thread is from over nine years ago, but any chance the image of the inner workings of a Yoda is still hosted or available someplace?
