I've been watching the progress of Boston Dynamics for a while now, with projects like "big dog"

I didn't realize they'd got Atlas, their humanoid robot off its leash (for balance) and into the field.

I've seen that video, too.

Impressive stuff, but I'm not sure whether that means I'll get my own HK-47 some day or if I should be afraid someone else will build one with real weaponry :undecided:
