3 Volt or 4,2 Volt for Vader's Vault batteries?
« on: February 19, 2016, 07:19:24 AM »
Hey guys,
I bought a VV Havoc used and it came with all the accessories.
The charger has a setting for both 3 Volts and 4,2 Volts.
It is currently set to 3 Volts. I just want to make sure that is correct before I put a battery in it.

Can anyone help?

No you want it set for 4.2V, 3V won't charge it fully.

If you have more than one saber or device that takes higher voltage batteries then I'd recommend picking up a Nitecore D2 or D4 charger. It's not very expensive, and automatically recognises just about any battery you can throw at it, charges it to perfection, and has a great meter telling you how it's doing.

I have a few torches and sabers that take 18650's and other exotic batteries, and wouldn't be without one of these to look after them.
