Post Office Problems

Have you ever had one of those days? I recently shipped two boxes throgh the post office, one to Canada and one to England. I had all my paper work filled out and handed the boxes and paper work to the person behind the counter to ship. He figured out the shipping cost and attached the forms to the boxes and I paid him, task complete or so I thought.
The postal worker switched the customs forms on the boxes and now the box that is supposed to be in Canada is in England and the box that is suppoed to be in England is in Canada. The really bad part is that I also had printed the addresses on the boxes and he could not even get the right form on the right box. After an hour on the phone with the postal service center they are supposed to contact the post offices in Englang and Canada for the boxes to be returned and shipped to the proper country.  We will see how this all works out, Long Live UPS

Ouch.
I had that happen once, but it was in the USA. That made it a little easier to sort out.
Who is your carrier?

That sucks Do-Clo hope the post office gets it straightened out for you.  You know sorta unrelated but I've noticed the post office in general is kind of slow lately.  Two CD's I ordered were shipped on the 9th via Priority Mail should have been here either Saturday or yesterday but nope...today they will be here though.

I waiting to hear back from the post office, it just bothers me that becuase of their screw up my customers have a mess. Hopefully they will fix it quickly without too much effort for my customers. Just think they keep raising rates and the service gets worse. ???

Yes, I too have had a few issues lately.  This one however, seems to be the fault of an inattentive clerk...  Unless of course the boxes were different lengths and weights...

Yeah man, you tryed to sent them what 3 times? but the firs tthing that gets sent to my brothers new house everything shows up....

Why is it my address gets tossed into the preverable black hole?

I mean I ordered a free catalog 6 months ago and it finally got here a week and a half ago.

Well the post office here has been having issues with employees recently...

They SHOULD HAVE HIRED ME when I sent my test scores... BUT NOOOO They Hired "Bobo the wonder chimp"

Post office issues here too. Three sabers were sent to me by Priority Mail last Friday. As of yesterday they have not arrived. However, payment for some work I was doing to them was put in the regular mail last Monday at it arrived yesterday! They were insured with delivery confirm. I hope to "you know what" they show up today! >:(
