That hilt looks hideous to me. I wouldn't ever describe it as "an elegant weapon of a more civilized age."

Sure there are cosmetic changes I would personally like to see happen... But the saber has potential. 8)

I like kind of like it, but for an E-FX saber it would depend on where the activation switch goes.


The black circle near the pommel looks like a control box.
I would make the red switch decorative, and the the black switch rotary ala MR Maul.

When you think about all the other collectibles you can get for $400, it doesn't seem worth it. I know none of us have seen the movie yet, but I can't see many people paying such a price for something like this, especially since it's not even based off a real prop. I agree with most people here that it is rather ugly. :(

It does resemble a clothes pin a little.  Hey but at least it's not wood.  :)

A few people have made wooden sabers. The last one I say was an ANH Vader. I want to say it was made from mahogany and a couple other different woods to get the vary shades needed.
