MR has sold all the SW stuff they can.  As of midnight their time was up.  I do not see it an issue to announce before than.  Apparently LFL didn't think to authorize the ad.

To me, it would be a wise decision.  Bryan and Amy were the major ear piece and mouth piece for Master Replicas.  They saw the company NOT listening to what the customers wanted.  They have always been the major supporters for the Star Wars products.

Just makes good business synergy to me.   :D

It would be great to have the future of the license in such good hands that are and understand fans of SW specifically...instead of a general-interest 'toy car' maker like Corgi [well thats what they made when I was kid lol] that didnt seem to care much about SW.

Not to 'diss' Corgi completely...I have their recent 24kt James Bond Aston Martin "Goldfinger" DB5 & "Die Another Day" Vanquish anniversary double set and it is GORGEOUS imo but if they had put the same kind of thought into SW sabers as they did into Bond cars maybe we'd have had a great Dooku and Qui Gon and Obi TPM FX sabers coming out this year...

Oh wait...maybe we still will... ??? *crosses fingers and hopes...*

They still make the Toy cars and collectible cars. I have a few Corgi Batmobiles, and one BTTF DeLorean from them that I bought a couple of years ago when I worked at the Toy Store.

They also made a couple cool Star Trek Items that I wanted to pick up, but never did.


I'm really looking forward to seeing what this EFX is all about. Sir Tristan knows something but isn't telling underpenalty of Gundark attack... so his lips are sealed, but he did state that Lucas has something BIG up his sleeve to reveal at SDCC preview time...
