Harumph. don't think he made it through to even a sith apprentance. There can only be two and the emperior wasn't taken out till Luke turned Vader back. If he was that great then together they would have destroyed Darth Sidous....    But that didn't happen, game or not.

Greetings all! I live in Edgewater, Chicago.

I was looking for custom lightsabers, found Ultra Sabers and then found these fantastic forums!

Tho I am an airsofter at heart, a few of us are trying to work light saber duels into the night games we have planned this summer.

I've been lurking for weeks and reading up. Ultra Sabers is the choice I am going with, but I wish I could hold a Do-Clo in person to see. I put a post up last night looking for used Stunt sabers, since I need something that will hold up to actually beating people and running thru the woods with and that will glow and give my position away (gotta be fair since airsoft Jedi will be invulnerable to all but glow in the dark bbs).

Well, wouldn't you know it, today Ultra Sabers just released their new Stunt sabers and I'm in love. The only reason I haven't ordered is because I sent them an email asking about getting one done with their new lower profile on/off switches. Once I have my answer, the order will go in. I think the Fire Orange with that black blade will look absolutely fantastic   ;D

Im behind the dealerships off of jefferson theres a nice lil apartment complex by the hospital that i live at.  I was gonna make a trip to tigerdirect to complete "my rig" today thats cool.  I figured it would be more low key saber style, this close to the chi.  Too many fake thugs....

What's up guys, LaGrange checkin in!  I'm the "dude" that Master Dru is speaking of...at least I think I am.  I duel weekly to bi-weekly with my brother in law.  We have slowed down a bit trying to get our costumes done before halloween, but we still clack sticks whenever possible.  I have a good amount of land at my house, and there is a huge open field right across the street for large scale battles! Ultimately I would like to get something going along the lines of NYjedi, but I think that's a ways off.  Anyway good to know theres more duelers around here than me and Dru!

IDK i'm friends with CHEDI on myspace.  And I haven't seen a whole lot yet.  Welcome fellow illinoians!   I'm thinking after winter some plans should be made for atleast like a BBQ saber showoff hang/battle day of something.  Some of  us are within driving "chill for the afternoon" distance.

I technically live in Michigan, but have family everywhere in Illinois. My Mom is in Frankfort Square (right by the old Music Theatre) and very near Orland Park (old place I lived in as well), 15 minutes away from there. Only 20 minutes away from downtown. If I have some notice.....it only takes me 4 1/2 hours to get wherever and I always visit family when I go, so it's not a biggie for me. BBQ away.

I haven't been checking in...  Still located in Joliet.  About 20 mins from Orland park and very nearly that same amount of time from Naperville.  Getting to be the end of the season but enough time to *possibly* have a meet up.

Not sure if I should of bumped this or started my own thread.

I just moved to the Bloomington area, lots of cool clubs like Dr who and D&D.

Any Lightsaber stuff going on around here. The thread is dead but I hope to start back up some interest, especially with Episode VII coming out. I just got a couple of my friends into custom lightsabers.
