That is very nicely done.
To DREAM the IMPOSSIBLE DREAM. To FIGHT the unbeatable foe. To BEAR with unbearable sorrow. To RUN where the brave dare not go. To RIGHT the unrightable wrong. To LOVE, PURE AND CHASTE, FROM AFAR [-sigh-]. To TRY, when your arms are too weary; to REACH the unreachable Star!... This is my Quest; To follow that Star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far...

Thanks for the kudos. I used one the plastic walkies they sold way back during TPM. I sort of hot knifed them for the greeblies.

Clever  ;) I knew the coms were made from razors but it wasn't stated what else was used in the construction. Nicely done! Hmm... Out of curiousity and kinda OT...but was there ever pictures of Sith comlinks? I know about the Empire era coms the Imps had... I was considering on creating or atleast finding someone who could make one for my Sith...

I used to use those razors in the '90s, so I recognized it instantly when I saw it in TPM.

I had the one that everyone knows, green with the rubbery grips (I have no idea what I did with that one), but I also have one that most people have never seen.

They had versions that had hard plastic grips and came in different colors.

The body of mine is pinkish red with glitter embedded in the plastic, and a lighter, translucent grip area. This one will be much easier to paint.

I've taken it apart for easier painting when I finally get around to making a comlink. I've collected most of the greeblies that I want to put on it by now.

I'm still searching for the little metal pieces that go on it. Once I can get my hands on that stuff, I can get to work. If anyone has leads to where I can find them, let me know. Have already checked out a few places on the net and am not buying 100 of them at a 1.00 usd a piece. Also, if anyone has some that I can buy from them, let me know.

If your referring to the long skinny metal pieces with the hole in them they are called solder lugs. your local Home Depot or Lowes should have them.

I give up! I can't find them anywhere and I have been literally everywhere, even industrial places! I need these solder lugs and can't get any! UGH!
