Darth Bane 2nd Run No22 - The Rule of Two

Saber Demo (Yes I know (as the Emperor would say) the saber is not related to Darth Sidious, EPIII, or TCW.)

I did not want to take a chance on such a $$$$ saber, so I glued my stand. (I'm still a little nervous.)

The alternate black grip material used.

I tried to capture the flash on clash, but it's way too quick.

Oh yeah man...those pictures are money.  I love the point of view angles behind the saber.  The menacing redness is the awesome.  You know, you've amassed a wonderful collection of sabers.  I know you're a Graflex fan.  Do you have a favorite or 3?  Also, has anything surprised you with the Bane?  Anything you may not have anticipated?

I adjusted the clash sensitivity so it doesn't require such a hard smack to trigger. The bone is a super snug fit on my saber. I must push pretty hard and then it suddenly moves. So I have to make sure the underside notch is lined up with the hook. I think the snug fit is wearing a little of the black under paint off creating a wider range if light showing through the bone.

I took it to work to show off and everyone was in utter astonishment.

Agreed, the clash requires a pretty hard smack to trigger.  Need to adjust mine a bit as well.

Snug on mine also.  I'm getting the hang of opening and closing it though.  It requires just the right amount of pressure.
The bone segment is just outstanding though.  My wife was even amazed just how much it looks like a real bone.  It is very comfortable to grip as well.

When I got my #23 the bone segment was such a tight fit.  It even bit the inside of my palm when it slammed home at the claw joint. I still have the cherry bite right now, but I've been bitten by "Ultimate Power" so its all good, Lol.  I so love the new rubber ribbed section too. To all who are now part of the "Bane Clan".. Congratulations.

I am currently nursing a gouge on my index finger that got caught between the bone and the front claw. It's part of the sith trials.

Yes, I experienced all that was mentioned above but with time, wear and tear will make moving the bone much easier.  I've yet to address the clash sensitivity, if at all.

Me too... long ago on the original. I should have mentioned that. I just learned a way of sliding it by gripping the pommel end and using my thumb.

Sith trials indeed.

Ok, i guess I will just say it...

These each look the same, why does each individual one need it's own thread?  ::)
