It's just a bust...but in miniature, as opposed to full scale.  ;)
I don't know why this line is called that when the 'bust-ups' are smaller still. It would make more sense to call them 'mini'.
But perhaps the larger 'mini' line came along first, and GG were stuck with the name.

My Vader still hasn't arrived yet. :( I contacted the seller and he gave me a tracking number. He didn't post it until a week after I paid and now I think the easter post and holiday have messed things up a bit. :'(
I have tracked it and the info says that it is at my local sorting office. So hopefully I should have it in the next day or two. ;)

Yeah I thought this one had something extra. I think it is just a good sculpt of the famous mask, and captures Vader really nicely.
I wanted first time I saw it too. Ah...love at first sight.  ;)

I wish I had a camera so I could post some pics of sabers etc. I'll get one sometime.

Hope he arrives soon. Imagine how pissed the Emperor would be if he took this long to show when summoned.  ::)

the reason they are called 'mini' busts is because traditionally, a bust is a LIFE SIZE rendition of a persons torso, arms and head, (like in greek/roman sculptures), so these are 'mini' in comparision

the 'mini bust-up' I guess is a just a name they had to make up as it was already smaller than the mini line GG produces :P

Ha Ha!  :D He has arrived at last!  ;D I mean like literally ten minutes ago! And I am totally thrilled!  :D  He is a perfect example and I am sitting here now just staring at him.  8)

I was beginning to become concerned that he wasn't going to arrive at all, and that I had been ripped off by the seller.  :-\
But it turns out the seller was just a bit lazy when it comes to posting. He didn't post my Vader until over a week after I had paid.

I guess I can't complain though, I got him at a really cheap price, about a quarter of the price I would have paid had I bought him at my local modellling and collectables store. I do love these busts and now I know that I am going to want more. I have always loved miniatures of any kind, so a Star Wars miniature is like the ultimate in cool, as far as I'm concerned.  8)

I just wish I had a camera so I could post some pics, but if you want to see one, have a look at Louis' or Darth Torment's. Mine is, of course, identical.

I am now bidding on a Sandtrooper Squad Leader mini bust. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I would prefer it if you called me "Master" rather than chimpanzee/padawan  :D
