Need Nbv4 Help
« on: June 20, 2017, 09:35:35 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I have installed the new NBv4 in a Vader Saber.

Used Bench Test and Multi-meter...and installed resistors (red - 1.2ohm / 3 watt - White .47ohm / .5 Watt) - I installed a Solo's Hold Panasonic PCB protected battery (tested at 3.7 volts).

All wiring has been checked and double checked.

Here is the issue:

The 1st font starts, plays a brief part of the boot (Vader R1)...lights the Saber, and all swings and clashes work)...but...the speaker is crackling and is weak.

Then, I switch to the 2nd font, get a beep, red ignites, (no ignition sound) and no sound at all - effects work

same on the 3rd font.

I Have one momentary switch on the Saber...and the wiring is correct.

The Sab3er also has a 1.3mm Recharge port. I have that wired correctly too...voltage is getting to the Board properly.

I have absolutely NO idea what is going on here...and I am completely confused at this point.

Anyone with any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,

I suggest you re install the default package of the board from my website. TCSS has got some recurrent issues with the package replication and has been informed of this. Use the archive from the website and format the card

[edit] : you are not switching the font but activating mute on the go. Check the NBv4 new options

Just wanted to say publicly, thanks Erv for the help!

Great response and awesome Card!

It was my failure to properly config the rebootd and motg lines.

Works like a charm!

Thanks again ERV!
