This is my NEW Obi saber. I received this saber from Artvic on the forums. He had bought it from Jasher Kain one of the original owners who named this saber The Spirit. The story of The Spirit is in the link below.

I had just traded my converted MR Obi-Wan saber with Artvic. I have always wanted to have the OBi ANH AFBB version with a thinner neck. When Art offered up a trade I instantly took him up on it. When I read up on the story behind this saber I new it was meant to be mine. This beauty is amazing now that it has been re-done. It was a bit beat up when I got it but I gave it some TLC and now it shines like the morning sun. I put a US 2.0 Board for the sound, TCSS speaker, Blue Luxeon Rebel Star Led, transistors on side of clamp, new switch underneath bubble strip, 3.7 Li-Ion battery with recharge port in pommel and a new paint job. The neck is 3/4" which isn't screen accurate but MUCH closer than the MR version. I am extremely happy with the hidden momentary switch underneath the bubble strip. I got this idea from Master MH who has made a few sabers for me. He has inspired me to attempt this feat and I have achieved victory, Thank you MH ;D The saber is almost done and I will post a video soon.
Anyway, Enjoy...If you have any questions, fire away.

I was just looking through for the status on your Obi project and read about your above emitter delay.
I've only been on theRPF for about a year, but Russ is a great guy, just very busy
I'd keep faith that you'll get it, good things come to good people.
Oh and BTW, how is your real parts Obi coming along?
-
I do not think that russ is a bad guy, only I think that it is a really big delay...
The work of russ always is awesome!!!
Lord Bane, sorry for the off topic :-[

Great work on that, I know you said the neck wasn't screen accurate, but if you hadn't told me I wouldn't have known, I think you did a fantastic job, and going for the 3/4 blade to preserve dimensions was a good call in my opinion.
