Actually, it's quite funny.  The other night at our d20 Gaming Session, I brought up that exact quote to a friend of mine as he was looking at my Vader shrine I began to rebuild starting a year ago.  :)

Great review Master Dajoquim!

I'm now sold on a Yoda! Must...Have...This...Saber!

How is the balance on the Yoda saber? Is it tip heavy or even? I'm actually thinking of TWO for Dual-wielding purposes ;D

Actually my young padawan, Dual wielding is meant for the attacking saber to be regular sized, and the off hand saber (blocking) to be smaller.  So HA! 8)

So certain are you?

What about Asajj Ventress? General Grevious? Anakin Skywalker?

The smaller length saber you're referring to is called a shoto.

The Yoda is an excellent saber.  I find that it is perfect for my 4 year old son.  It is actually HIS.  The color is just plain AMAZING.  I am even shocked that I can see it in plain sun light while outside.  Simple amazing.

When I use it, I don't really enjoy the grip, because I find that the little knobby between the emitter and the shroud sits wrong in my hand.  Maybe if I were to modify it slightly...who knows.  But I got it for Damien, not me.  LOL...

I DO look at the positives however and to what the Yoda will eventually lead to:

1)  Sidous style saber since we have smaller electronics
2)  Dooku saber, hopefully off of Master Yoda's designs, due in part to new electronics
3)  New adapter sizes being made by ULTRA, TCSS, and others so we may convert our sabers to 3/4" blades, giving a lighter and more realistic feel to the saber.

I especially will keep a watchful eye to adapt my Maul Staff Saber to two 3/4" blades.  How fast would I be able to whip that thing around then!

mwuahahaha!

It's is a great saber Dajoquim.

First of all the blade must have as many led lights as the other sabers because holy crap it's brite!!As for the weight it almost weighs nothing to me.It does not seem to have much in counter weight.as for the saber itself I was impressed!! ;) ;)

Umm...Acampa? Anakin and Vader were masters at Shien (form 5), not Jar'kai...just wanted to clarify that.

The Yoda looks awesome btw.

When I asked about dual wielding, I was actually thinking more along the lines of a Florentine style.  The Yoda saber seems a bit long for this though, but I'd be willing to compensate a little to accomodate this.

I already do use a shoto from time to time. It's actually just a 28" Polycarb dueling tube that I put in my Luke ROTJ Lux conversion in my off hand. It is a bit off balance, but since the Luke hilt is lighter than my other hilts, it's not too bad.

Here's an example of a Jedi in the upcoming Force Unleashed that dual wields Tonfa style sabers.
