Loving the darker weathering on Aginor's hilt too, really goes well with the black chrome PC! IF you don't mind my asking, General, what technique did you use to weather the gold (sorry, electrum!) areas?

The golden areas also have a light coat of black chrome II

I love my Trans Copper version, but Aginor, I think yours is the coolest color version in this group. Love the weathered gold to. Great job GG!

great job on these, were the rough areas smoothed out? the parts that got missed on the edges by the polishers

No.  They were cleaned, masked and powder coated.  No additional polishing was done.

His was a lot of extra work, lol.

Not since the trailer for Ep. 7 have I been this excited.  Can't wait to wield this awesome piece of work...finally a bonafide Sidious fx saber!  I can once again scratch off another unicorn saber off the wish list.  Awesome job Lord General!!!  And a shout out to Korbanth for getting these hilts made and into the hands of a true cram fu master.  Much respect for you both.

Thanks fellas.  This has been quite a project and I still have another 20 to build out as they get ordered off my site.  The odyssey is not over, lol.

Got mine today.  Needless to say this is THE saber. I can finally cross this one off my list. The CS 2.5 is just like a CF 6 with the 6 sound banks and FoC.  I see the CS as the go-to board for thin sabers until Erv makes the CF smaller.  WOW!

Oh, wow, I never considered PC'ing over anodized parts. Very nice! Congrats Aginor, I think your unique LDM Sid will be a lusted after hilt by much of the saber community! :D

And great job to you and the other installers, General!

Looks great, Xeno! Man, those came out great.  8)

Folks, lets get some video reviews up on these. I remember back in the day, people were doing far more video reviews for the sabers that were built for them by our resident smiths. Pics are good, but if you have the time, write one out and shoot a vid! That way other peeps can see how great they are and will keep our smiths nice and busy.

I'll do my review as soon as mine arrives.

Got mine today

Wow, that looks great on it's display!  It was cool meeting Lord Xeno yesterday.  He got to pick his own blade plug from my pre-made stock and got a blade made for him on the spot, lol.  Caine and LX are the only two who have them so far, but 4 more are going out next week (maybe more) so they will be in hands soon.  LX can likely comment on Aginor's V2 as well, since he saw it.

Caine -- I'll try getting a vid up soon.  I can't flake on it.  Not on this one.

Getting to see the General work his magic on getting a few custom things done was way cool.  Scratch blade plug, added the retention screw, and custom 29" blade.

Yes I did get to see Aginor's V2 with the black chrome and powdercoated neck and BH.  It was awesome!   However, having seen them side-by-side in person, I think this V1 finish is the best.  Cheers
