Title: K3GR1 - HELLFIRE
Post by: Forgetful Jedi Knight on March 26, 2016, 05:14:19 PM
K3GR1 - HELLFIRE

This is a saber that I acquired a couple of years back. It came with the switch and recharge port placement already “determined” and with the anodized color scheme. The original owner had this in mind to be a Sith saber, so I rolled with that concept and after a new rear chassis and some other small modifications, this saber is FINALLY done. This has a R/RO/A setup, so I can have a few variations of the sithy colors. The main blade is designed to be R/RO.

SPECS:

CFv6 3.7V HACK
Tri-Cree R/RO/A
2W Bass Speaker
3.7V 18650 Battery

The story behind those switches is that I had Erik do my switches that way and he liked it so much he did his that way as at the same time.  I really miss my K3GR1...maybe I need to contact DS and see if I can buy it back.

Great job btw.

Thanks. Yeah, There were times when I wanted to have a talk with you two about those.  I had to do a couple of threadectomies on this. The bright side is that Doctor "X" did correct the box/switchs alignment for me.
