Best way for CFX blade mirroring?
« on: September 15, 2021, 04:49:42 AM »
Hi all. Trying to figure out the best way to achieve the following with a single pixel accent:

Crystal pulse while blade off, and mirror while blade is on.
I don’t want parallel because then I won’t get pulse.
Based on what I see, then I’d need an accent pad that handles mirroring, and data to ls2?
Also can I wire that to deep sleep, or will the entire board sleep after the time elapses?

Thanks, that manual has lots of info and my eyes just aren’t seeing exactly what I need.

I've got the newest firmware.
Main blade is wired to main pads 1,2 and 3.

Accent pixel is wired to:
Data from ls2
Pos to accent pad 2 (bridged, with inline 330 ohm resistor)
Neg to main pad 4

Still don't understand which settings will make it pulse on idle, and mirror while on.
Right now it blinks as if it's just sequencing on the 8 accent pads, but only the 1 is hooked up. So it's doing like 1/8 of a sequence, so just a blink basically.
Any changes in the leds.txt file don't seem to have any effect.
The leds.txt file I changed back to default, cause I don't know what to change. So starting over there.

Please someone point me in the right direction. 70 views, someone has to know.
I'm fairly sure it's wired correctly, so it must be in the config, but no changes I make there do anything.

pixel sequencer isn't fully finished, but in great shape, and GraFx system is already in place. Soon to be released, it's working already in my dev fw, but is still missing variants of the sequences (idle, lockup, normal, power on/off). Ironing out next week hopefully this week is just impossible with work schedule
