I have a degree in Electrical engineering. I was also a technician for sears for a few years before I moved on to bigger and better things. I used to work with my brother on computer repair as well.

So I think I can offer some technical advice etc.

I have also practice martial arts for over 20 years and can answer questions about that too.

Lastly I'm currently a programmer/analyst and have experience in C++, java and oracle if anyone ever needs advice on that.

Since I'm a swordsmanship instructor, I'd make a pretty good saber tester! :)

I've made this little movie to tribute all the FX Sabers forum ;)

http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=BGqNaCRgIbs

I've used the amazing photo of Graflex and Negotiator by Yoda (i hope this is not bad Yoda!!!)

Well, i'm in Italy, but if i can make someone tell me guys... With IMA SFX www.imasfx.it maybe we can make some nice thing!!!!!!!

We can make special makeup, mechanical characters, dummy heads and bodies, models, set construction, props, costumes and mascottes. All with a movie accuracy.

We need a thread listing all of the known scam artists we have had dealings with. that way we don't have to search the forum to find their names. Just a thought.

Just a thought: Now that there is a great new home page and Ultrasabers has a TV advert, I think that there will be a lot of new members joining our community. I know that thers is a lot of new people anyway but I think we'll see a massive increase.
With that in mind, I worry that our moderators will be overworked moving threads to their correct places and instructing new members on some of the basics.

How about a padawan system? Where each new member can opt to have an experienced mentor show them around the forums. It could work on a volunteer basis, say, on a stickied thread. That way, any experienced member could request a padawan and any neewbie could also request a tutor. They could then be paired up. That way, any question a "padawan" has they could pm their "mentor" who could advise them on where to post etc. It could also be very helpful in breaking the ice, give new members confidence and make old timers feel like they are helping their community.

Hopefully, it would ease the workload on the mods and make the forums look tidier.

Any thoughts? Got the idea from TFU boards.

Seriously, this site has been a blessing to my life. I found TCSS, Ultra, got the Negotiator, had a Graflex customized, and have made some friends. Master Yoda, just let me know what you'd like me to do.

BTW, I'll have my Heiland upgrade "shop" up-and-running in another two weeks.  ;D
