In the new year I aim to:

1. Stop just collecting parts, and actually build something.
2. Read more books just for entertainment.
3. Build a CF saber.
4. Build a purple saber.
5. Build an RGB color changing saber. (even if is has no sound)

I hate to resolve to do so, but I would like to hit Celebration 5. It's quite a drive from Iowa   :'(

Two more goals I would like ot accomplish. I have been planning an RGB saber for some time. :D

Well, I haven't posted any resolutions for 2010, so here's mine:

finish crocheting a sweater for myself. (too many friends have babies...)
become a more knoweldgable member of this community.
lose those last 20 lbs.
stop saying, "I wish I could be more like_____"
stop being the Team Mascot in my own life.

lol! you're going to have to wait a bit, Li'l Sis is so burned out on cookie making she never wants to see a stick of butter again!

But we'll see what the new year brings!  After all, if you believe Chewie's sig, all you have to do is pop into the Gemini Chatroom! (and maybe buy a saber!!)

*gasp!*  Chewie, MJ! New marketing strategy!  Free batch of cookies with every saber over $250!

Well, during my life I haven't seen a new years eve like this one, not ever. There were hardly any fireworks in the sky, just some kids outdoor, but honestly this was the most quiet new years ever so far. I believe the shooting accident in here Finland by this crazy guy Ibrahim was the reason. He went and shot lots of people in the grocery store. So the moods were down and people wanted to remember to victims with silent time during new years eve  :'(.

Then personal things, I promised my wife that I'll exercise more than ever, trying to get into the best of shape, also less alcohol next year. I also try to enjoy more time with the family next year, if that's just possible. Overall more healthier life and more family time, that's about it for moi

Oh Palpy, how sad!

It's a quiet New Year's Eve celebration here too.  I personally don't have the mood to do anything but watch movies and try to prepare myself for 2010.  It's going to be a year like any other, if I have anything to say about it.

Which of course I do.

I'll go watch Mickey Rourke's the Wrestler, that's my new years eve movie. I need to see a film, so I can ease my mind...

I heard it wasn't as bad as everyone thought it would be.  That and it's filmed in my home state!
