Yes it was taken in full day light - in the shade of trees

I love the brightness

Great to finally have RG(r)B LED options that can produce brightness on par with the single powerhouse LEDs of years past with lower voltage and amperage requirements too. Obviously the optics play a major role. The cree XPE2's green beats a LED engine 5watt fully driven, and the red beats a LUX 3 red. Even the blue is close to the LedEngin 5watt, but I've fallen for the a full on Royal Blue with Green mix any way and no longer use straight Blue.

The saber is strong and has no fear of things such as concrete  ;)

Seriously, I want this saber to have a used character, as is already the case do to the weathering. I'm happy for some more imperfections to arise. I'll keep it polished and clean, but it will have it's scars.
