I really like that idea. I would only be worried about the weight of the hilt pulling on the blade. But if you flipped it upside down do that the blade pointed down and was sucured right below the hilt you wouldn't have to worry about that. The only thins is you might have to put a spacer behind the holder so that the hilt doesn't hit the wall.

found 2.97cdn for 2 at RONA also bought small L shape brackets and felt cups to support the bottom of the hilt...i think these are going to work out great!!

Yes that's right I believe I got them at Rona...cheap eh?......

...look for the rubberized fork things for supporting the hilt underneath, better than the L-bracket, won't scratch....
