Well, what has not been said about this saber? Here are my quick thoughts and I guess my first (although short) review. It is very nice and well balanced, though just a tad on the heavy side. I think if it weighed a little more than the ROTJ, but less than it does, it would be perfect. The finish on mine was just fine.
I have seen some complaints about the gold plating having some imperfections in some. Hopefully these will be the exception rather than the norm. The blade is of course, like everyone else had said, just the best one MR has done so far. The end cap does have a more pointed profile than all other FX's. Lets hope they continue the trend with each new one released.
The sounds are what we have come to expect from MR, which is not a bad thing. We all just want something different! The sound levels on mine are good but the idle hum on mine seems a little low to what I was expecting. The power up and down and clash sounds are all nice and loud. The looping hum sounds good although it may have a shorter track than some others. I haven't timed it yet.
All in all a great saber, perfect for any first timer. It also ties into the original trilogy, which is very nostalgic for me. If you have any doubts as to wether or not to buy this saber, fear not, it is one of the best there is. Great job Master Replicas!
