LDM may be incommunicado for a bit
« on: December 17, 2013, 01:21:35 PM »
Hey everyone.  As some know, I will be going in to have my rotator cuff repaired (again) tomorrow.  I have a >75% tear in the tendons of insertion of the Teres Major, Supra and Infra-spinatus muscles (basically the entire rotator cuff).  Bottom line: a 6 month recovery.  7 weeks off work.  Can't sleep in a bed for 4 weeks minimum.  Gonna be rough.  I am hoping to be productive saber-wise, but that may or may not be possible.  I am sure that I will log in to the major forums once I am up and at 'em, maybe 2-3 days post-op.

Thank you for your patience everyone!

Good luck LDM, we are all thinking of you. I think I speak for everyone when I wish you a speedy recovery. Hopefully you will have some quiet time to spend with your family for the holidays without sabers getting in the way ;)

Looking forward to seeing you back in action soon, best wishes man.

Rest up, and please don't worry yourself over your build log. People can wait for their sabers. Just take it easy...earned it you would have...

Take care of yourself, Marc. Get well soon.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Marc! Having gone through 8 weeks of shoulder rehab to avoid surgery, I know slightly what your going through! Rest up, enjoy the holidays and relax. Let that shoulder heal, the sabers can wait.
